Thanks for visiting my blog. My name is Steve Courcy and I teach English 10 at Coopersville high school. I have developed this blog as a way to keep parents informed about what their students are studying and learning in sophomore English. My hope is that you will assist me in reminding your child what is expected and required in my class. - Born in Taunton, Massachusetts, I grew up rooting for the Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and Boston Celtics. I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 1996 with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism then spent 8+ years in television as a sportscaster. I enrolled in Aquinas College's MEd program in 2006, received my teaching certificate in 2008, and earned my Master's Degree in Education in 2012. I am married with three children and live in Grand Rapids.
